Infinity Eye Clinic offers a wide range of services including Cataract Surgery, Glaucoma Screening, Glaucoma Treatment, Treatment for Retinal Disorders, and Minimally-invasive Surgery.

Cataract Treatment

We remove cataracts to restore vision. For most patients, the treatment of choice is a minimally-invasive procedure, called phacoemulsification.

The surgery lasts about 30 minutes and can usually be performed as a day case, under local anaesthesia. This means patients recover very quickly from surgery and don’t need to stay overnight in hospital.

Cataract surgery has a very high success rate, and the risk of a complication is low. Our surgeons are Consultants who benchmark their outcomes against national standards.

Glaucoma Screening

In its early stages, glaucoma affects peripheral vision and may go unnoticed. We are able to establish whether you are at high risk of glaucoma and detect early disease. This minimises the chance of developing advanced glaucoma, which can affect eligibility to drive, the ability to recognise faces and to read.

In screening for glaucoma, we use sophisticated technology to analyse visual function as well as the structural characteristics of the eye. Interpretation of test results is carried out by your expert Consultant.
